About Lisa caprai

Lisa first stepped onto a yoga mat at the age of 18. Like most paths, her yoga journey has had breaks, and has taken many twists and turns.

It wasn't until nearly 18 years after that first class, and after trying different styles of yoga with many different teachers, that her passion for yoga grew so much that she decided to share the wonderful gift of yoga with others.

"I originally came to my first yoga class for purely physical exercise. But over the years I've discovered that there are many layers to yoga, and it's really up to every individual to decide how deeply they wish to dive into it. Yoga is a wonderful toolbox that has helped me become physically and mentally stronger and has been great for dealing with stress and keeping fit and flexible."

Are you ready to start?

"Yes! If you're on this website looking for a yoga class in your local area, you are ready.

Please don't worry about not being able to touch your toes - flexibility is not a prerequisite for doing yoga, it will improve the more you practice. The physical and mental benefits of regularly practising yoga are well documented. Everyone progresses at their own pace and it's not a competitive activity - every student has their own physical challenges and abilities. Although we are in a supportive class environment, yoga is very much a personal journey.

I truly believe that yoga is for everybody, and I would be honoured for you to join me on the mat at one of my classes or upcoming workshops."
